BLISTT Consultation

Senate Committee on Government Corporations and Public Enterprise Chairman Senator Richard Gordon and Senate President Vicente Sotto III spearheaded the public hearing to discuss the Senate Bill No. 1692 and House Bill No. 6794 or the Proposed Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba and Tublay (BLISTT) Development Authority at the CAP John Hay Convention Center on Friday last week. The public hearing was attended by the different local officials of the BLISTT, regional line and law enforcement agency heads and reps, civil society organizations, academe, business, and other stakeholders from the private sectors. LT Consultation BLISTT

La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda leads the consultation of the Proposed Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba and Tublay (BLISTT) Development Authority at the Senate and the House of Representatives at the La Trinidad Municipal Hall last week to let the people of La Trinidad know the proposed bill which is seen to help in the decongestion of Baguio City and for the development of the nearby municipalities. Road Rehab

Motorists plying the Halsema Highway are cautioned due to the road cuts and damages by the recent typhoons which are still up for repair and rehab. Warning signs are placed by the DPWH Benguet Second District Engineering Office to warn motorists of the dangers of the roads. RMC PIA-CAR
