BAGUIO CITY (December 3, 2018) – Baguio policemen rounded up two
gambling dens over the weekend taking at least 19 alleged gamblers.

At least 15 were hauled to the jail and are now facing illegal
gambling charges from a drop-ball joint along Otek St., Baguio City
Sunday night.

Caught were:  Santos Agustin, 23; Aries Vicente, 31; Jaype Matias, 33;
Carlo Torres, 35; Michael Cabigao, 40; Andy Divina, 48; all residents
of Otek St.; and Jay Pascual, 28, from Manaoag, Pangasinan; Tony
Tamiles, 44; from  Kalayaan St., Quezon City; John Lim, 22, from
Palma-Urbano, Baguio City; Jonathan Medina, 37, from Agpaoa, Camp 7,
Baguio City; Alisoo Maruhom, 35, from Brgy. Central, Bacbacan, Asin
Rd., Baguio City; Roland Abalos, 47, from Poblacion, Kasibu, Nueva
Viscaya; Franklin Andrada, 43, from Roman Ayson St., also in Baguio
City; Jonathan Moreno, 41, from Middle Rock Quarry, also in Baguio
City; and Randy Puguon, 46, from Km. 04 Asin Rd., also in Baguio City.

Policemen seized cash bets totalling P29,235.00; three Cattleya notes;
three black ball pens; two stainless “Imbudo”; three wooden dices;
three plastic baskets; six rectangular boards; rectangular shape
plywood; a wooden box; two cellular phones; a black sling bag and
white plastic balls.

In another operation, four alleged gamblers were caught playing cards
at the 3rd floor of Batawa Building, Agrix building along Bokawkan,
also in Baguio City early Saturday morning.

Policemen took Julius Guerero David, 40; Simon Oydot Allasiw, 55;
Reynaldo Siblawan Sobilla, 34; and John Badal Aplasen, 36, all from La
Trinidad, Benguet.

Cash bets of P1, 200.00, 52 pieces plastic playing cards and other
gambling paraphernalia were also taken by the policemen to serve as
evidences in the illegal gambling charges against the four.***Ace Alegre
